Texans on stage will host its first play of the school year, Fright fest, at 7 p.m. Nov. 4 in the Auditorium.

“The inside scoop is very exciting,” theater teacher Maryann Porter said. “First of all it’s about zombies and witches. It is family friendly like Disneyland, but it will have mazes, strobe lights, and creatures that come out of the grave yard. We will convert the black box theater into the haunted house. We will also extend it in the hallways.”

Junior and cast member Cali Chilson will play white widow. Her character is the antagonist.

“I just love the whole aspect of being another person and being able to share that character with the rest of the world,” Chilson said.

Tickets are $5 for the play and $5 for the haunted house, Town of Terror. The hunted house opens at 9 p.m.

Students can attend the play during school hours Nov. 7-8.
