The Texans DIY club, also known as the cooking club, had its first meeting at 3 p.m. Sept. 29 in room 920.

“The Texans DIY club will provide an open and creative environment for students to explore their talents and to provide a service to our community,” club sponsor Tammie Ellershaw said.

Everyone is welcome, but there are only 24 spots left. If students are interested in attending, sign-up and pay the $2 fee in rooms 916, 918, 920, and 921.

This year the club will focus on cooking and crafting do it yourself (DIY) projects. They will meet two times a month and students may attend as often as they can.
